Case Study: The child tested positive for THC, cocaine, and opiates; was born at 30 wks; parent did not receive prenatal care; at 20 months child displayed aggressive behaviors such as biting self and others, repetitive head banging against walls and floor; showed little interest in playing with toys. Introduced Vidget at 22 months; child attempted to rock backward and could not; began rocking side to side and while rocking child discovered the textured hand holds; child became less aggressive and able to maintain eye contact with others after 4 therapy sessions lasting 40 minutes each. Child is now 26 months and has started to use words to express self and interact with others; when agitated child will sit in Vidget to self sooth rather than bite or bang head. Physical therapist - I am quite impressed with the Vidget seat, and it’s multiple uses. Many clients have found this physical therapy aide to be invaluable, and an easy way to accomplish excellent exercises with their child. Comments are closed.

What's the buzz?
"Since incorporating the Vidget in our classroom, I have noticed an improvement in attention span, participation, and regulation in my students"
Tara, Occupational Therapist "The little girl I used it with sat down and ate lunch which she usually does not do - she tends to stand or sit and wiggle in her seat."
Melanie, Director of Occupational Therapy "When Pearl is in a Vidget, her behavior is 100 times better than when she’d in a normal chair. She’s still has difficulty sitting for that long, but it makes a HUGE difference! Without it, she’s everywhere."
